Qiddiya is located south-west of Riyadh on a site that spans 334 sq.km. Phase one is set to open in 2023. 
Visitors will enjoy activities across five cornerstones: Sports & Wellness; Nature & Environment; Parks & Attractions; Motion & Mobility; and Arts & Culture. Development of these areas will give rise to family-friendly theme parks; sports arenas suitable for international competitions; academies for sports and the arts; concert and entertainment venues; racetracks for motorsport enthusiasts; outdoor and adventure activities alongside nature and environment experiences; and historical, cultural and educational activities. Qiddiya will also include a variety of real estate options and community services.

General Summary

Analyze costs, negotiate contracts and purchases order details, propose strategies and offer solutions to help optimize supplies and vendor services costs.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop, execute and administer complex contract agreements and communicate with suppliers to ensure proper delivery of required services and meet business needs.
  2. Communicate with the various departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure development of a procurement plan accordingly to answer desired needs and requirements.
  3. Update and review the procurement plan based on the rising priorities and business needs of concerned function heads in coordination with concerned stakeholders.
  4. Review bid solicitation packages or determine contract agreements award after bids have been solicited while serving as a primary agent in expediting contract agreements through the corporate review proceedings.
  5. Develop and enhance suppliers’ lists, suppliers’ prequalification, development of forms and requests for proposals.
  6. Prepare bid invitation letters to suppliers, conduct job explanation meetings, receive and handle the bids.
  7. Review bid tabulations for accuracy, supplier recommendation, completeness and selection of suppliers and ensure all commitments made are accurately presented and have proper approval and signing authorities, as contained in the Procurement Procedures.
  8. Ensure compliance of all procurement activities with the set Qiddiya procurement policies and procedures.
  9. Develop and enhance frequent, periodic, accurate and high-quality reports and ensure complete documentation of procurement activities.
  10. Draft complex contracts and agreements in consultation with the Procurement Senior Manager and coordination with user and Legal Division.
  11. Evaluate and analyze vendor proposals and prepare commercial evaluation reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field

Professional Certifications

(if required)

Holding one of the following certifications is an advantage:

  • Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma (CIPS)
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) 
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Years of Experience

4-6 years of experience is preferred
