Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) is driving the development of Qiddiya Saudi Arabia’s Capital of Entertainment, Sports and the Arts. Qiddiya is located south-west of Riyadh on a site that spans 334 sq.km. Phase one is set to open in 2023. 
Visitors will enjoy activities across five cornerstones: Sports & Wellness; Nature & Environment; Parks & Attractions; Motion & Mobility; and Arts & Culture. Development of these areas will give rise to family-friendly theme parks; sports arenas suitable for international competitions; academies for sports and the arts; concert and entertainment venues; racetracks for motorsport enthusiasts; outdoor and adventure activities alongside nature and environment experiences; and historical, cultural and educational activities. Qiddiya will also include a variety of real estate options and community services.

General Summary

Manage the development and implementation of compliance strategy and plans to ensure Qiddiya is operating in alignment with regulatory and ethical manner.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilites

 

  1. Support in the development of the GRC strategy to achieve QIC’s strategic objectives.
  2. Participate in the development and enforce the implementation of GRC policies, processes, procedures and controls.
  3. Assist in the development of GRC budget in alignment with the organization budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives.
  4. Manage the development and implementation of ethics and compliance plans to ensure alignment with agreed standards and expectations.
  5. Conduct a detailed review of compliance material risks on a quarterly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  6. Lead the development and implementation of an effective compliance framework by putting in place adequate processes to ensure consistent and coherence application of compliance standards across Qiddiya.
  7. Identify all new legislations and regulations to ensure Qiddiya is implementing regulatory requirements affecting the business.
  8. Conduct compliance risk identification exercise and manage the evaluation of identified compliance violations to ensure efficiency of controls across Qiddiya.
  9. Manage the development of compliance awareness campaign to raise and share knowledge of compliance practices and methodology across Qiddiya.

 

Job Specification

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Business Administration or related field.

Professional Certifications

(if required)

 

Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification is preferred.

Years of Experience

6-9 preferred total years of relevant experience.
