General Summary

Lead the oversight of on-site project development and execution of E-gaming Arena assets and related infrastructure including but not limited to design, procurement, logistics, contracting, stakeholder management, project controls, handover and closeout.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

  1. Support in the development and implementation of the E-gaming Arena execution strategy to achieve QDC’s strategic objectives.

 

 

  1. Participate in the development and enforce the implementation of the E-gaming Arena project management and delivery policies, processes, procedures and controls.

 

 

  1. Manage the E-gaming Arena assets budget in alignment with the portfolio’s budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives.

 

 

  1. Review designs and project execution plans including but not limited to budget allocation, contractor/vendor coordination, risk mitigation and contracts in order to apply adjustments according to identified particularities and ensure successful delivery of assets.

 

 

  1. Participate in value engineering initiatives throughout design stages aimed at incorporating value-increase and/or cost-reduction modifications and additions.

 

 

  1. Oversee the day-to-day management of design, procurement, logistics and construction operations to ensure successful delivery of all assets as per approved specifications and standards.

 

 

  1. Oversee the expenditures of each asset to ensure delivery as per agreed budgeting specifications.

 

 

  1. Oversee the scheduling of assets delivery in coordination with QDC PMO to ensure proper coordination with other assets as well as with other portfolios.

 

 

  1. Oversee quality assurance programs in coordination with QDC PMO to ensure proper delivery as per approved standards.

 

 

  1. Lead periodic progress meetings with design companies, contractors, consultants and other vendors to ensure coordination and to discuss major issues in order to take action accordingly.

 

 

  1. Manage the achievement of the team’s objectives through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performance.

 

 

  1. Provide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate and challenge teams providing opportunities for growth and development within the team.

Job Specification

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field preferred.

Professional Certifications

(if required)

Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification preferred.

Years of Experience

12-15 preferred total years of relevant experience
